How Cherbourg Beauté works

Our role

Cherbourg Beauté is an independent local guide that showcases the hair salons, barbers and beauty institutes of Cherbourg-en-Cotentin. Our aim: to help locals and visitors find a good address, and to help serious professionals be visible to them.

What is sponsored

Some salons pay us to be highlighted: better placement, a badge or an enhanced presentation. This is what keeps the guide running. So that you always know what you're looking at, these placements carry a visible label:

Partner

A “Partner” placement means the business has taken out a visibility plan. It takes nothing away from the quality of the address — but you have the right to know.

Our commitments

No fake reviews. We do not write fake testimonials and do not publish invented reviews.
No rigged rankings. Our directory is presented in alphabetical order, and a paid placement does not change how the other addresses are shown.
Partners identified. All sponsored content is clearly labelled, without ambiguity.
Simple, transparent local visibility. No jargon, no vague promises: local visibility, explained clearly.
